My latest Crafty

The semester after Harrison was born was brutal. I spent most my time feeling guilty, either about neglecting schoolwork/practicing or not spending time with my baby. I really enjoyed my classes and LOVED learning about music, but I couldn't help but feel like my time was best spent with Harrison. He grew and changed so quickly. Although I am sad to not have finished my degree, I am a million times happier knowing my time was best spent with my baby. And it was such a relief!! The guilt left and I felt more calm and confident in my role as a mother. And Harrison finally began sleeping for more than four hour stretches. Maybe that's the reason...
Anyway, this is a layout about us sharing time on the piano, something that happened very often during his first year. It brings me such joy to play the piano and I hope that this will inspire him later on to pursue musical talents.

Near the bottom embellishment cluster you can see Harrison's added drawing

I also tried to machine sew on this page. The stitch goes through the crepe paper and overlapping border above, although this picture doesn't really show it.

A simple card using a few of my fav items: Glimmer Mist, wash tape, and sticker labels.
